In January 2009, Jason Doss and his wife Joy Doss opened their own law practice in Marietta, Georgia. Mr. Doss is an attorney who has devoted his practice to representing consumers across the country in a variety of areas including securities arbitrations and consumer class action litigation. Prior to opening his own firm, Jason Doss was a partner with the law firm of Page Perry, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr. Doss has a proven track record of fighting for the rights of consumers and being unafraid to take the largest corporations to task. Over the few years, Mr. Doss has initiated some of the largest consumer class action cases in the State of Georgia and across the country.

In 2006, Mr. Doss developed and initiated a class action case against Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, the nation's largest issuer of equity-indexed annuities. The case alleged that the insurance behemoth, Allianz, misled its customers who purchased its most popular annuities by falsely promising them that they would receive upfront and immediate bonuses at the time of purchase. In reality, the bonuses were illusory and not available to the consumer for fifteen years, if ever.

The Allianz case was identified by some of the most influential class actions attorneys in the country as a new trend in insurance class action litigation and the case was analyzed at the ALI-ABA's Eleventh Annual Advanced Conference on Financial Services and Insurance Industry Litigation in Washington, D.C.

The Allianz case was certified by a federal court and the class consists of over 400,000 consumers across the country and involves over $20 billion in insurance premiums. The case is scheduled to go to trial in 2009.

In February 2008, Mr. Doss also filed two putative class action cases against two of Georgia's largest natural gas marketers, Georgia Natural Gas and SCANA Energy Marketing, for allegedly overcharging their most loyal customers for natural gas in violation of Georgia law. These cases were featured on the front page of the Atlanta Journal Constitution on February 29th and were also discussed in several subsequent news articles. The cases involved several hundred thousand Georgia consumers and involve hundreds of millions of dollars in overcharges.

Mr. Doss's practice is not limited to class action cases. Since 2002, he has helped recover millions in damages on behalf of individual investors who lost their life savings due to faulty investment advice given to them by well-known brokerage firms. The individual cases that Mr. Doss has handled against these firms involve issues related to unsuitable investments, churning, variable annuities, fraud, misrepresentations and the submission of falsified documents.

Mr. Doss believes that the best way to avoid becoming a victim of consumer fraud and/or investment abuse is through education. To help prevent investment and consumer abuse, Mr. Doss co-authored a book with best-selling author and investment adviser Frank Armstrong III. The book was being published by renowned publishing company Prentice Hall and is entitled The Retirement Challenge: Will You Sink or Swim? It was released in January 2009 and is currently in book stores across the country.

Mr. Doss has also worked with union organizations such as the Communication Workers of America (CWA) and United Auto Workers (UAW) over the last several years to help protect its members from becoming victims of investment abuse. He has spoken to hundreds of union members at their local meetings. Jason Doss has been a speaker at the Communication Workers of America (CWA) Retired Members Council's Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Leading business publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Investment News have relied on Mr. Doss for analysis of investment related legal issues.
